    Description

    This simplified case study can be performed at Level 2 and illustrates how CES EduPack can be used to investigate the performance of a skateboard. The aim is to understand materials for longboards, used for high speeds and slalom competitions. Material options are discussed and compared with existing designs.

    An advanced Industrial Case Study of high-performance Longboard design at Level 3 is also available for licensed educators.Our result is compared with existing designs and a prototype longboard developed by FORCE Technology in Denmark using Granta software. This multilayer skateboard was manufactured and tested in their labs demonstrating a 30% reduction in weight.
