    Description

    This case study illustrates how CES EduPack can be used to optimize performance by investigating composites and structural hybrid materials using the Synthesizer tool. The aim is to create an improved longboard design used for high speeds and slalom competitions. Our result is compared with existing designs and a prototype longboard developed by FORCE Technology in Denmark using Granta software. This multilayer skateboard was manufactured and tested in their labs demonstrating a 30% reduction in weight.
